Any import taxes, duties, customs fees will be charged to the recipient. The Customer is therefore invited to contact the customs authorities of their country in advance to check the costs and any import limits. African Cottons Italia is not responsible for any delays due to customs operations and controls, or due to force majeure beyond the control of African Cottons Italia. With regard to shipments destined for the United States, any customs duties and taxes are paid by African Cottons Italia.
The products purchased will be shipped within 5 days from order confirmation, unless otherwise communicated. The delivery to the address indicated on the Order by the Client happens, about the deliveries in Italy, by 2-3 days from the shipment, with the exception of the islands where the delivery time may be longer. For deliveries requested outside of the European Union, delivery times vary from country to country and may be longer than 3 working days. African Cottons Italia will provide information on delivery times upon request. The lead times for delivery indicated by African Cottons Italia are merely indicative and a delay to the same, or any delivery made with subsequent split consignments shall not entitle the Client to refuse the delivery or request compensation or indemnity.
For shipments to Italy, the Customer is required to pay a contribution of 14.60 Euros for purchases of less than 50.00 Euros, above this amount no shipping costs will be charged.
For shipments to countries EU+ UK, Swiss, Norway and Iceland, the Customer is required to pay a contribution of 18.00 Euros for purchases of less than 50.00 euros, above this amount no shipping costs will be charged.
For shipments to the United States, the Customer is required to pay a contribution of 20.00 Euros for purchases of less than 70.00 Euros. Above this amount, no shipping costs will be charged.
We also ship to other countries: Japan, Russia, South Korea, Rwanda, Tanzania, South Africa, Kenya and Canada. The customer is required to pay a contribution of 55.00 Euros regardless of the amount of purchases. Contact our customer service for shipment to other countries
Pursuant to Article 52 of Italian Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code), as amended by Italian Legislative Decree 21/2014, the Client may withdraw from the Conditions and therefore from the purchase agreement for any reason, without need for an explanation and without incurring any penalty, within 30 (thirty) working days from the date of receiving the products.
In order to exercise the above mentioned right the Client shall send notification to African Cottons Italia within the time limits indicated to the following email address customercare@afartextile.com and shall return the products to African Cottons at the Client’s expense within 14 (fourteen) days of said cancellation to the following address:

After verifying that the product has been returned intact, in a normal state of conservation and complete with all its parts, African Cottons Italia shall arrange to refund the Client for the whole amount paid, within 14 (fourteen) days from receipt of return, by transferring the debited amount.
African Cottons Italia refund the customer for the price of the product plus the transport costs for sending the product to the customer if he paid them. The transport costs for the return remain the responsibility of the customer unless African Cottons has expressly exempted the customer from such expenses.
The goods must be returned intact, complete in all their parts and in their original packaging (envelopes and packaging), having been kept and used only for the time strictly necessary to establish and verify their condition, features and size, in accordance with normal diligence, there being no signs of wear or dirt.
The right to cancel may be applied to the purchased product as a whole; it is not in fact possible to return only part of the purchased product (for example, accessories, complementary items, etc.);
in order to cancel, the product must be complete and returned in its original packaging, complete in all its parts (including packaging and any documentation and accessories: labels, cards, tags, seals, etc.).
Until confirmation of receipt by the warehouse indicated by African Cottons Italia is given, liability for transport shall be borne solely by the Client;
should the goods be damaged in transit, African Cottons Italia shall notify the Client, in order that the Client may promptly lodge a complaint against the courier that was used and obtain appropriate compensation; the product shall then be made available to the Client, at the same time as cancelling the request for termination;
African Cottons Italia shall not be liable in any way for damage, theft or loss that occurs during or as a result of a shipment made for the purposes of returning goods.
The Client shall forfeit the right to cancel if African Cottons Italia should discover any of the following:
- that the returned product and/or its accessories, and/or its packaging are not intact;
- that the product is without its external package and or the original internal packaging;
- that the product is missing some of its integral parts and/or accessories (for example fastenings, ties, buckles, etc.).
Should the right to cancel be forfeited, African Cottons Italia will arrange to return the purchased product to the sender, debiting the shipping costs from the same and, if already refunded, the price of the product.
