Most of the cotton we use comes from small farmers from central Ethiopia, where cotton has been grown for centuries using only traditional techniques. This means there has been no genetic selection or modification; farmers use only natural fertilizers and no pesticides. Very natural, very traditional, very fresh and very low impact on the amazing land where it is grown.
we use combed yarns made from selected fibers thereafter twisted to obtain the best compromise between softness and resistance.
The heavier fabrics, used for bags, are made of multiple threads twisted together. By twisting more yarns together, we manage to increase the resistance without increasing the weight and the look of the fabric is fine and smooth. Heavy canvases are coated to become water repellent.
